A cop was injured on Sunday in South Kashmir after suspected militants opened fire.
Reports and sources said that a Head Constable of J&K Police was injured when unidentified gunmen attacked a police party in Pulwama.
The Head Constable was identified as Muhammad Shafi. The incident happened at Murran Chowk.
“Shafi was inspecting an ATM theft scene when the firing incident took place. The firing was retaliated by the police party,” reports said.
The bullet pierced leg of the cop.
