A cop was a killed when he was hit by a bullet in Srinagar.
Reports and witnesses said that a few cops guarding J&K Bank branch Islamia College Hawal were busy playing some game. “In the meantime, fire was opened accidently which hit the cop,” reports said.
The injured cop was rushed to SKIMS Soura but he succumbed to his injuries on way.
“He was brought dead to SKIMS,” MS SKIMS told Kashmir Life.
“A case has been registered and investigations are on,” JKP spokesperson told Kashmir Life.

Today in the afternoon one guard Altaf Ahmad Lala resident of Eidgah Srinagar got injured by the fire which went off from 12 Bore Rifle of another guard Javed Ahmad Dar at J&K Bank Islamia College, Srinagar. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries. A case has been registered in this regard and investigation was taken up.
