G-A-MirDescribing the attack on Students from J&K in Mewar University in Rajasthan by some right wings activists as worrying factor for the students and parents, JKPCC state Chief G A Mir Thursday asked the Union Government to take cognizance as to why Students from J&K only are being harassed.

Mir termed profiling of students and businessmen by MHA and elsewhere merely on the ground of being the residents of J&K, as unfortunate.

“This is very unfortunate that various students have been attacked in Mewar University by right wing activists on pretexts in Rajasthan is aiming to create fear psychosis among the students by right wing activist and urged the Union Government to take cognizance of  the matter, so that the carrier of students is saved,” he said.

PCC Chief expressed serious concern over the issue and said that such type of incidents are being encouraged by right wing activist aiming to create fear psychosis among students and businessmen.

PCC Chief also sought clarification from Union Government about the advisory issued by MHA regarding students of J&K, as reported, he said, “instead of ensuring protection of students and businessmen, MHA has engaged itself in profiling of students, which is not only unfortunate, but objectionable.”
