SRINAGAR: A policeman of the Armed wing allegedly ended his life by shooting himself dead with his service rifle in the Rajbagh area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Sunday evening.
Quoting officials, KS reported that the selection grade constable of IRP 10th Battalion took the extreme step at a hotel in Rajbagh this evening. He was immediately shifted to SMHS hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the matter and started an investigation.
