SRINAGAR: A Selection Grade constable died of a ‘heart attack’ at his home in YK Pora in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Friday, an official said.

They said that Azad Hussain Mir, son of Ghulam Mohiuddin Mir, resident of YK Pora, suffered a massive heart attack. “The cop was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was declared brought dead on arrival,” they said.

“The cop, who was on leave, served in his native district Anantnag,” the official added. (KS)
