SRINAGAR: Twelve pregnant women among seventeen more people tested positive in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, raising the total of COVID19 confirmed cases reported today to 1065.

Dr Saleem Khan nodal officer COVID19 at GMC Srinagar said 17 more persons have been tested positive for COVID19 at CD hospital Srinagar.

“Of the 17 new cases, 14 including 12 pregnant women are from Anantnag and three from Kulgam district,” he said.

Dr Khan said 17 samples out of 1002  processed in one day tested positive at CD Hospital’s virology lab.

As of now, J&K has reported 1048 cases, out of which 541 are Active Positive, 513 have recovered and eleven have died.
