As many as twenty-one more persons have tested positive on Tuesday, taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 955.

Dr S Saleem Khan, in-charge COVID-19 at Government Medical College Srinagar said 21 samples were tested positive for COVID19 at CD hospital.

“Of the 21 new cases, eight from District Police Lines (DPL), two from Kharpora Kokernag, 6 from Seer Hamdan, one each from Bantengoo, Naibasti, Frisal and Khiritaj respectively and one from Kulgam district,” he said.

While giving details, he said, 1163 samples had been tested at the lab in CD Hospital on Wednesday.

As of now, J&K has reported 955 cases, out of which 480 are Active Positive, 455 have recovered and 11 have died.
