The patients were given a rousing send-off by the doctors and hospital staff when they left for the native places.

“After testing positive for the virus, the patients were treated at the hospital. They were discharged after their fresh samples tested negative for the virus,” an official said.

An official said that out of five patients, one patient was discharged after 25 days as the patient was symptomatic and tested repeatedly positive four times before testing negative.

“Rest of the patients were asymptomatic and were discharged after 18 days from the hospital,” said an official.

Now total positive patients admitted at JLNM hospital at present are 40.
