Five persons who had tested positive for COVID-19 in Kashmir last month were discharged from JLNM Hospital Rainawari Srinagar on Sunday after their latest tests returned negative, official sources said.

An official said that all these patients have recovered from the infection, adding other COVI19 patients were on the path to recovery.

He said that JLNMH had a total of 32 patients among them seven patients were discharged till date.

There are still a total 25 COVID19 patients in the isolation center at JLNM Hospital Rainawari Srinagar, he added.

The cured patients have now gone into home quarantine and will remain under close surveillance. The doctors said that they will be tested again after one month.

They said that among five recovered patients, four are from Chattabal and one is from Bemina.

As of now, J&K has reported 341 cases, of which 294 are Active Positive, 47 have recovered and 05 have died.
