Regional Passport Officer, Srinagar, Brij Bushan on Friday informed that it has decided to close passport counter till March 31, in wake of COVID-19 threat.

News agency KNS quoted Brij Bhushan as having said that due to COVID-19 and advisory and requests from Central Government and local administration, the appointments booked at the Passport office Srinagar for passport applications and other miscellaneous services by the applicants may please be rescheduled and postponed till further advisory or instructions from this office.

He said inquiry counter at Passport Office Srinagar to remain closed till March 31, 2020.

“In case of any exigency with regard to the passport application, the general public is advised to call on 2500375 and 2500173,” he said, reported KNS.
