District Magistrate Kupwara, Anshul Garg on Sunday designated Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) as Nodal Officer for Quarantine Centres established in Kupwara district for the citizens arriving from abroad to prevent the spread of Coronavirus in the district.
The Nodal Officer has been directed to ensure adequate arrangements in these Quarantine Centres as per SOPs prescribed by Ministry of Family Health Welfare Department, Government of India. Besides, he has been asked to keep close coordination with Office of Divisional Commissioner and Director Airport Authority Srinagar along with S.P
Kupwara and Handwara for arranging foreign return Citizens/ Students of the district from Srinagar and further lodging at various Quarantine Centres.
Meanwhile, Supervisory Officers for the Quarantine centres established across the district have been designated to assist and report the Nodal Officer on a daily basis for ensuring arrangements.
