SRINAGAR: As many as 10 samples that were diagnosed for Covid-19 at the SKIMS laboratory have turned positive,  officials said.

An official told Kashmir Life that 10 persons have been tested positive for COVID19 at the SKIMS laboratory.

“Of the ten new cases, three are from Kupwara, three from Baramulla, two from Shopian, one each from Srinagar and Budgam districts,” he said. “We are in the process of getting the details of the individuals.

He said 2088 samples had been tested at the lab in 24 hours and 8782 more samples were pending when this report was filed.

He added that 644 samples have tested positive and 35826 samples have tested negative at SKIMS till date.

As of now, J&K has reported 1466 cases, out of which  762 are Active Positive, 684 have recovered and 20 have died.
