With four rounds of counting still to go Peoples Democratic Party candidate Bashir Ahmad Mir is leading from Kangan assembly seat by 109 votes. Mir is ahead of current MLA and minister for Forest, Mian Altaf.
The constituency which polled in the first phase 2014 assembly polls on November 25, witnessed a tough contest between NC and PDP.
