SRINAGAR: A couple was killed when a vehicle they were travelling in fell 100-150 feet from the road into a gorge in Doda district.
Quoting official sources news agency GNS reported that car (JK02CN-5892) on way from Doda towards Jammu skidded off the road near Dhansal Assar and rolled down about 100-150 feet, resulting in the on the spot death of Shankuntla Devi and serious injuries to her husband Mangat Ram of Chilly Bala Gandoh . He was shifted to GMC Doda for treatment and succumbed to injuries later, they said.
Police, they said, have registered a case in this regard.
