SRINAGAR: Principal Sessions Judge Jammu Sanjay Parihar on Thursday extended the bail of former Minister and Dogra Swabhiman Sangathan Party (DSSP) supremo Choudhary Lal Singh up to December 20, 2023.
Meanwhile, Special Judge CBI Bala Joyti extended the pre-arrest bail of Kanta Andotra and Dr Kranti Singh up to December 20, 2023.
The former minister was arrested by ED sleuths from a house in Chowadi in Sainik Colony in Jammu outskirts after his anticipatory bail application was rejected by the Special Judge CBI Jammu Bala Jyoti on November 7. However, the court had extended the bail application of his wife Kanta Andotra and their daughter Dr Kranti Singh up to November 30.
He was under investigation by the ED in connection with a case against an educational trust run by his wife and former legislator Kanta Andotra.
