SRINAGAR: With every passing day, the Covid-19 situation is getting better. In the last 24 hours, 12 deaths were reported as the new infections fell to 635 across the 20 districts across Jammu and Kashmir. This is one of the lowest numbers of infections in recent days.
Kashmir lost six citizens and Jammu six in the last 24 hours.
The trend of infected people outnumbering the fully recovered people continues. In the last 24 hours, as many as 1649 people recovered thus reducing the number of active cases to 17585. The recoveries included 712 cases in Jammu and 11381 in Kashmir.
Now the death toll of Covid19 in Jammu and Kashmir is 4217 people including 2164 in Kashmir and 2053 in Jammu.
In the last 24 hours, six deaths took place in Jammu and six in Srinagar, the information revealed by the government said.
