SRINAGAR: In view of the rising Covid-19 cases in Jammu and Kashmir, National Conference President and Member of Parliament, Srinagar Dr. Farooq Abdullah today in a letter issued to Deputy Commissioner Srinagar recommended the release Rs.1.40 crores towards, improving the Covid care facilities in the hospitals falling under the jurisdiction of his Parliamentary Constituency.

As per the letter, Dr. Farooq Abdullah recommended the Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar to allocate Rs. 50 lakhs to Directorate of Health Services Kashmir and Rs. 30 lakhs each to Govt CD Hospital Srinagar, SMHS Hospital Srinagar and SKIMS Medical College Srinagar.

While sharing the letter on their twitter handle JKNC wrote,

“In order to do his bit to strengthen the fight against Covid, Party President and MP Srinagar Dr. Farooq Abdullah today recommended release of Rs.1.40 Cr from his MPLAD to health sector in Kashmir”
