SRINAGAR: As Covid-19 cases continue to be on the rise, J&K recorded its new highest ever daily spike of 3832 positive cases.
Among the 3832 people who tested positive for the Covid19, Srinagar alone has 1084 cases. Jammu, the other capital of the erstwhile state reported 504 cases.
The new cases include 2601 from Kashmir and the remaining 1231 from the Jammu division.
In Kashmir, the new cases include309 from Baramulla, 291 from Budgam, 70 from Pulwama, 122 from Kupwara, 286 from Anantnag, 77 from Bandipora, 94 from Ganderbal, 221 from Kulgam, and 47 from Shopian.
From Jammu, officials said Udhampur reported 141, Rajouri 96, Doda 42, Kathua 120, Samba 137, Kishtwar 15, Poonch 64, Ramban 60, and Reasi 52.
