SRINAGAR: A 55-year-old Covid-19 positive patient Baramulla district died at SKIMS Soura on Tuesday, taking the number of deaths due to novel Coronavirus disease to 17 in Jammu and Kashmir.
Dr G H Yatoo, Nodal Officer Coronavirus control measures at SKIMS Soura said that a man from Rafiabad in Baramulla died today morning.
“He was suffering from cancer and had tested positive for coronavirus,” Dr Yatoo said.
With his death, the number of casualties due to the novel Coronavirus has reached to 17 in J&K. Earlier, 16 patients have died due to COVID-19 including fourteen from Kashmir and two from Jammu.
