SRINAGAR: At least five CRPF personnel were among 117 persons who tested positive for the novel coronavirus at SKIMS laboratory on Monday.

Dr Farooq Jan Medical Superintendent SKIMS told Kashmir Life that 117 persons have been tested positive for COVID19 at the SKIMS laboratory.

“Of the 117 new cases, 47 from Kulgam, 34 from Pulwama, 5 from Budgam, 6 from Baramulla, 5 from CRPF, 2 from Anantnag, 13 from Srinagar, 1 from Bandipora, 1 from Kupwara,1 from Shopian, 1 from Uttar Pradesh and another from other districts,” he said. “We are in the process of getting the details of the individuals.

He said 2334 samples had been tested at the lab in 24 hours out of which 2117 were negative.
