SRINAGAR: In the last 24 hours, 1141 new Covid-19 positive cases were reported – 434 from Jammu and 707 from Kashmir. There were four Covid-19 related deaths including three in Kashmir.
A government spokesman said 487 more Covid-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 116 in Jammu Division and 371 in Kashmir.
In more than a year now, Jammu and Kashmir reported 142877 Covid-19 positive cases of whom 10040 are currently active, 130791 have recovered and 2046 have died. The dead included 758 in Jammu and 1288 in Kashmir.
The daily bulletin said 418 cases were reported from Srinagar, 136 from Baramulla, 25 from Budgam, 21 from Pulwama, 23 from Kupwara, 30 from Anantnag, while Bandipora 07, Ganderbal 13, Kulgam 28, Shopian 06, Jammu 215, Udhampur 47, Rajouri 13, Doda 04, Kathua 29, Samba 13, Kishtwar 08, Poonch 09 Ramban 03 and Reasi 93.
