SRINAGAR: In the last 24 hours, Jammu and Kashmir has reported 703 Covid19 cases as two people succumbed. As many as 209 cases were reported from the Jammu division and 494 from Kashmir.

Providing district-wise details of the cases, the official handout said, Jammu reported 109 cases, Udhampur 20, Rajouri 16, Doa 19, Kathua 6, Samba 5, Kishtwar 15, Poonch 6, Ramban 11, Reasi 2, Srinagar 240, Baramulla 101, Budgam 42, Kupwara 43, Anantnag 32, Bandipora 16, Ganderbal 6, Kulgam 13 and Shopian 1.

Two deaths, both from the Jammu division took the overall death toll due to the pathogen to 4770. Among those who succumbed to the virus since the outbreak of the pandemic, 2341 were from the Jammu division and 2429 from The Valley.

In the last 24 hours, 458 Covid-19 patients recovered —212 from the Jammu division and 246 from Kashmir. Right now, there are now 4711 active cases— 1808 in Jammu and 2903 in Kashmir.

There are no new black fungus cases, however. Earlier, Jammu Kashmir reported 51 black fungus cases.
