Composite Regional Centre (CRC) Bemina today organised a programme in connection with International Day for Persons with Disabilities.
Assistant Director Social Welfare Dr Syed Farhana Asgar was the chief guest on the occasion. She urged the officials, activists and people working in the field to continue working for the overall development of specially-abled persons.
As part of the event, an awareness cum orientation programme was also conducted in which doctors, para-medical staff, Asha Workers, students, Activists from various organisations participated.
On occasion, the students of CRC presented a colourful cultural programme.
Prosthetic aids were also distributed among the beneficiaries at the event.
The CRC also conducted a public information campaign for the awareness of the public.
Experts and the Rehabilitation Officers of the CRC also addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of the day.
