A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Head Constable was confined on Monday after he was caught taking a bribe from Amarnath pilgrims at Amarnath Cave.
An official said that a CRPF Head Constable identified as Vikram Chand of 164/Bn deployed at Amarnath Cave was caught on CCTV Camera while taking a bribe from the devotees in order to provide them immediate access for the Darshan.
“HC Vikram Chand has been confined inside the CRPF Campus for his illegal activity,” the official said.
