SRINAGAR: A CRPF personnel has been injured in an ongoing gunfight between militants and forces in Malbagh area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
Quoting a senior Police officer news agency GNS that a CRPF personnel has been injured in the ongoing encounter, shifted to a nearby hospital.
Earlier, A joint team of Police and CRPF launched a cordon-and-search-operation in Malbagh.
As the joint team approached the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them. The fire was retaliated by the joint team, triggering off an encounter.
