SRINAGAR: An unidentified militant was killed in an ongoing operation in Malbagh area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Thursday, an official said.
An official said that one unidentified militant has been killed so far in the ongoing encounter.
He said that the gunfight broke out in Malbagh area of the district today late night following a search operation.
He added that CRPF men also sustained injuries during the gunfight.
Earlier, a police spokesman said a gunfight broke out between militants and forces in Malbagh area of Srinagar.
