A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel was injured after unknown men on Wednesday lobbed a grenade on CRPF camp in Nowdal area of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

An official said that unknown men hurled a grenade at 180 battalion CRPF camp in Nowdal village of Tral resulting in injuries to one CRPF personnel.

“In the blast, the CRPF head constable Prashant suffered minor splinter injuries in hand. The injured trooper has been evacuated to hospital for treatment,” he said.

Soon after the incident government forces have launched a hunt to nab the attackers.
