An awareness programme regarding Digital Financial Inclusion under Common Services Center (CSC) Scheme was held at Budgam today.
On the occasion, CSC e-Governance Services India Ltd State Project Manager and District Manager provided training to VLEs of the district Budgam. The training program focused on Digital Finance awareness and also covered issues like community mobilization, beneficiary registration and holding of sessions, etc. It was said that the trained VLEs will identify and mobilize the community as per the devised criteria.
Speaking on the occasion, District Development Commissioner Mir Altaf Ahmad, who was the chief guest, appreciated the organizers and said such awareness programmes should be held at grass root levels.
He said that it has become imperative for all to have know-how of the technology and be able to use digital services like digital wallets, debit and credit cards and move towards plastic currency.
