SRINAGAR: The Central University of Kashmir (CUK) has released the counselling schedule for candidates who appeared in CUET PG-2023 and have shown interest in pursuing higher studies at the university. Aspiring students can register for counselling through the provided link starting from July 29, 2023 until August 7, 2023.
During the registration process, applicants are required to indicate their programme preferences, aligning them with the choices they made in their National Testing Agency (NTA) – CUET-2023 application form. Counselling process is open exclusively to candidates who have expressed a preference for the Central University of Kashmir for their PG studies. The university offers a diverse range of programmes across various disciplines, catering to a wide array of academic interests and career aspirations.
Applicants belonging to the General category will be required to pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200/- during registration. However, candidates from OBC/ST/SC/PWD/EWS categories can avail of a fee waiver and complete their registration without any charge.
Post-Graduate (PG) Programmes offered by Central University of Kashmir are MTech in Computer Science Engineering, Masters of Arts in Islamic Studies, English, Urdu, Kashmiri, Convergent Journalism, Economics, Comparative Religion, Political Science, and Education, Masters of Science in Botany, Chemistry, Zoology (Lateral Entry), Biotechnology (Lateral Entry), and . Physics (Lateral Entry), Master of Tourism & Travel Management (MTTM), Integrated BEd-MEd, Masters in Commerce, LLM, and Masters in Physical Education.
