Srinagar

Curfew-like restrictions continued for the second day in the downtown area of Srinagar to prevent any law and order problem following a call by Joint Resistance Leadership to hold protests after Friday prayers against the killing of four civilians in Khudwani village of Kulgam district on April 11.

Four civilians were killed and more than 50 others were injured during the protests near encounter site. A soldier was also killed and two others sustained injuries.
