Soon after the reopening of government offices in Jammu under the Darbar Move arrangement, the Chief Minister chaired a comprehensive review meeting at the Civil Secretariat to assess administrative functioning and developmental priorities.

According to the Office of the Chief Minister, Abdullah stressed the need to accelerate the execution of ongoing projects as the working season approaches its end. He also directed departments to ensure adequate winter preparedness and maintain sufficient stocks of essential commodities, particularly in remote and far-flung areas.

Emphasising the need for effective governance, the Chief Minister called for time-bound and people-centric budgetary planning, directing departments to formulate proposals in line with public needs and aspirations.

The directions come as government offices resume functioning in Jammu for the winter period following the seasonal Darbar Move from Srinagar.

Abdullah’s directions focused on accelerating development activities, strengthening administrative preparedness and ensuring uninterrupted availability of essential supplies during the winter months.
