Ahead of Jamia Chalo on Friday as per the protest calendar issued by joint resistance leadership on Wednesday, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq was placed under house arrest on Thursday
As per reports, police contingent reached his Nigeen residence and asked him to stay indoors. This immediately came after JKLF Chairman Muhammad Yaseen Malik was arrested from his residence.
Pertinently few days ago the curbs on the movement of these two leaders were eased after which they had joint meeting at Hyderpora and than called an ‘all stake holders meet’ to chalk out future strategy
