Day 6: Congress Stages Walk Out, House Normal

As the lower house of state legislature resumed its business Friday morning, Congress members staged walk out. They had brought an adjournment motion demanding discussion on border firing issues, casual labourers and other issues. However, the independent lawmaker from Langate, Er Rashid is missing. He had to face a murderous attack by BJP men yesterday in house.

Leading the demands, G M Saroori alleged that the Speaker is not allowing the house to discuss important issues. “There is an issue of our security as well,” he said while leaving the house.

As Congress members were on their legs, BJP lawmakers stood and demanded discussion on education scenario in Jammu. To this, Speaker directed Education Minister to set an inquiry to look what the problem is.
