Border Kupwara town was looking slightly more normal than other days as most of the businesses were by and large open. Traffic was playing on the roads as well during the day, reports said.
Most of the towns falling in Kupwara district exhibited almost the same trend. A good section of the shops, however, was still closed.
Separatist leaders spearheading the ongoing agitation have relaxed their protest programs after 5 pm for almost all the weekdays. But now in certain area people are trying to do a bit of business during day time.
A senior police officer told Kashmir Life that the average one-side traffic movement on the Srinagar-Baramulla highway has improved to now 5000 vehicles, a day.
