Hundreds of people from Vessu Qazigund in south kashmir held candle light vigil vowing ‘to continue the struggle that has crossed 100 day mark’, here on Sunday.
The rally, amid pro-freedom slogans, was taken out from Jamia Masjid Vessu to Vessu Chowk on Sringar Jammu Highway in which young and old participated, the eyewitness said.
People also lit candles at the spot where a 20 year old youth, Basit Ahmad Ahanger was killed in forces action last month. They were also chanting slogans: Khoon nahi baychain Gai (we will not sell the bl;ood).
