J&K Governor N N Vohra, N N Vohra met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh at New Delhi on Tuesday.
Singh, in a tweet, said that Vohra apprised him about the prevailing situation in J&K. However, there was no further detail available about the meet.
Meanwhile, Singh today reviewed the situation in Jammu and Kashmir and the border with Pakistan.
“Situation on the border with Pakistan and within the state of Jammu and Kashmir was reviewed in a high level meeting here,” Home Ministry spokesperson K S Dhatwalia told a news gathering agency.
He termed the meeting as a “routine review meeting”, and said it was to take stock of the overall situation on border, LoC and in the Kashmir valley.
The meeting was attended by Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar and other officials of the ministries.
