Some unknown persons attempted to set ablaze J&K BOSE office in South Kashmir’s Kokernag on Wednesday evening.
According to the locals, the main door of the office caught fire mysteriously around 7:15 pm yesterday.
Immediately locals and fire brigade rushed to the spot and saved the building, an official working in the office told Kashmir Life.
“Except main door of the office, everything is safe including the records here,” he said.
Meanwhile, Chief Education Officer Islamabad, Ghulam Rasool Wani was caught unawares of the incident when Kashmir Life tried to get details regarding the fire incident.
Here in Srinagar, mysterious smoke came out of a window of historic S P College on late Wednesday evening. Some college staffers were alerted when the incident happened.
However, fire fighters rushed immediately to the spot and fire was brought under control immediately and saved from further damages.
