After peace bus service resumed functioning on last Monday, the cross-LoC trade resumed business on Tuesday.

The cross LoC trade remained suspended for nearly a week after the officials from the other side of Kashmir said that PaK was observing ‘holiday’.

Official sources said that at least 35 trucks from Srinagar carrying chilly, seeds, banana, and pineapple were traded over to the other side of LoC this Morning.

Truckers were instructed to collect the Temporary Road Pass (TRP) which helps them at various check points on Line of Control (LoC) from the office of SDPO Uri.

However, the parking of trucks on Srinagar-Muzaffarabad leads to massive jams.

According to the SHO Uri, Ghulam Mohammad Rather, all the trucks have to be parked near Bandi area of Uri.
