Deputy Commissioner Shopian, G M Dar, Saturday reviewed the arrangements put in place for smooth conduct of class 10th and 12th board examination.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, ASP Shopian, SDM Zainapora, Chief Education Officer Shopian, Tehsildars and officers of Board of School Education.
CEO and BOSE officers apprised the DC that the examination material has already been dispatched to the concerned police stations and admit cards have also been distributed among the candidates.
The ARTO has been directed to devise a transport plan for the movement of staff and shifting of examination material.
Regarding security arrangements, ASP Shopian said that elaborate security arrangements have been put in place around the examination centres.
He said that deployment order has been issued whereby police parties shall accompany concerned superintendents for distribution and collection of exam related material both before and after the examination from these centres.
A Control Room will also be established at District Level at DIET Shopian and ZEO Keegam and ZEO Imam Sahib and officials from Police, Education Department, BOSE and Civil administration will oversee the conduct of examination process across the district.
