Borderless World Foundation (BWF) – Jammu & Kashmir in collaboration with Borderless World Foundation Pune and Department of Ophthalmology, SMHS Hospital is conducting Free Retinal Surgeries for Pellet Victims.

A team of 4 doctors headed by Padma Shri awardee Dr S Nataranjan, Director Aditya Jyot Hospital Mumbai, are in the Valley for performing these surgeries at SMHS Hospital.

The team of Doctors have been in SMHS Hospital since 26th July 2016 afternoon and have conducted at least 24 major surgeries till 27th July late evening.

Another team of doctors is scheduled to arrive in Valley in the next week for the sake of patient care.

BWF donated four critical care ambulances to J&K Government which are positioned at 4 strategic positions in state. These ambulances worked 24*7 during current uprising. In picture is BWF Chairperson, Adeek Kadam.

This is pertinent to mention here that Borderless World Foundation has donated 4 Cardiac and Trauma Care Ambulances to the Government of Jammu & Kashmir in September 2015 for the welfare of common people and the same Organization also conducted a series of Medical Camps in Kashmir Valley in May this year.
