The Baramulla District Administration has appointed, ADC Baramulla, Bashir Ahmad Khan as nodal officer for coordinating transport Facility for candidates appearing in civil services (preliminary ) examination on August 7, 2016.
The aspirants have been asked to contact the nodal officer on 9419068392, an official spokesperson said Thursday evening.
Meanwhile, the candidates have been asked to reach the following venue on the said date at 5:00AM to avail the transport Facility.
DC office Baramulla, Degree College Sopore, Degree College Pattan, SDM office Tangmarg.
Further the admit cards issued by the UPSC in favour of candidates will be treated as curfew passes in case there will be curfew on the day of examination.
Meanwhile, District Development Commissioner, Baramulla Dr Nasir Ahmad Naqash today convened a meeting of officers to review the functioning of Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) and implementation of various projects under the scheme.
The meeting was attended by ADC Baramulla, Programme officers ICDS Baramulla CDPO and Supervisors of various ICDS projects of the concerned department.
During the meeting threadbare discussion was held on various issues including status of procurement of Nutrition provided to the ICDS centers, attendance of beneficiaries at Anganwari centers etc. The DDC asked the officers for implementation of the ICDS schemes in letter and spirit and directed the concerned officers to provide nutrition to the deserving without any failure.
The DDC stressed upon the officers to ensure timely procurement and distribution of Nutrition to the centers.
