DC Bandipora Sajad Hussain convened a meeting of ZEOs, Principals and Headmasters Thursday during which the functioning of schools was reviewed.
Various issues with regard to attendance of staff and students besides available facilities and the difficulties were also discussed during meeting, an official spokesperson said this evening.
The DC on the occasion stressed on attendance and asked the concerned to ensure furnishing of attendance report of staff and students to DC office on regular basis.
He asked officers to take Village level committees in confidence so that the students are sensitized about the importance of education.
Meanwhile, another meeting was held under the chairmanship of DC Bandipora during which functioning of Anganwari centers was reviewed. The concerned officers, supervisors and Anganwari workers were directed to ensure that these centers are open and all the registered children’s are benefited there.
Meanwhile, all those students of district Bandipora who are appearing in civil services (preliminary) examination on 7 August 2016 are informed to get their admit cards downloaded from DC Office Bandipora.
