#Day27: Bukhari, Lal Review Progress Of PHE Schemes In Sangrama Constituency

The Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Syed Basharat Ahmed Bukhari and Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Sham Lal Choudhary Thursday reviewed the progress of various on-going development projects under implementation in Sangrama constituency.

During the meeting, the officials presented a detailed progress report of other various Water Supply Schemes currently being executed in the Sangrama Constituency under NRDWP including WSS Rakhi Hygam-Haritar, WSS Khoie, WSS Ranji-Trumgund, WSS Ningli Ghat, WSS Hamray, WSS Amberpora and WSS Foot Park Colony, an official spokesperson said this evening.

It was informed these schemes will be completed at the cost of over Rs 28.88 crore.

The meeting was informed that more than 50% of work on WSS Seer-Jagir has been completed. The scheme will be completed at the cost of over Rs 7 Crore.

The Ministers also reviewed financial details of various WSS in PHE Sub-Division Kreeri for the year 2016-2017 which include Regional WSS Kreeri, WSS Mongam-Wagoora, WSS Doolipora-Fresthar, WSS Nilsar-Badaji, WSS Bandi Bala, WSS Najibhat, WSS Sultanpora Kandi, WSS New Colony Maharajpora, WSS Masjid Angan, WSS Bhat Mohalla-Vizer, WSS Karewa-Astanpora, WSS Mukhdoompora, WSS Syed Colony Kushalpora, WSS Khan Patti- Gundcheck, WSS Vadderbad and WSS Drangpatti Check Dodbug. These schemes will be completed at a cost of over Rs 64.23 crore.

During the discussion it was informed that acquisition of land for WSS New Colony Maharajpora has been already completed and land compensation has been released.

It was further informed the work on the project will start soon. Similarly, the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for WSS Cherwari-Dandmoh under NABARD has been already submitted to the Planning department. Regarding WSS Khanpahi- Dardpora, WSS Bhat Mohalla-Vizer, WSS Ranji-Trumgund, the minister was briefed that work on these projects will be started shortly.

The Ministers, however, stressed that allotment of work needs to be done prior to first week of September keeping in view the climatic conditions.

 The officials informed the Ministers that Geo-Physical investigation is being done to explore the possibility for the establishment of Over Head Tanks and Wells at various places in Sangrama constituency.

The Ministers expressed satisfaction with the on-going projects but stressed the need to complete the projects on scheduled time.
