Union Home minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday announced that his government will hold an All Party Meeting on August 12, to deliberate on the prevailing situation of Kashmir.

He was concluding an eight-hour long discussion on Kashmir in Rajya Sabha, the upper house of Indian Parliament.

He said that after consultations with the chief minister, Ms Mehbooba Mufti, any decision about any Parliamentary delegation to Kashmir will be taken.

He said that raising Pakistan flags in Kashmir is intolerable. “We cannot allow raising of Pakistan flags in India.”

Rajnath Singh said that Union government was ready to talk to any groups in Kashmir. However, he said, “no power on earth can take Kashmir away from India.”

“We are ready for talks with Pakistan as well but talks will be held on the Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) only,” Rajnath Singh said. He added that prevailing unrest in the Kashmir valley was “Pakistan sponsored”.

Rajnath Singh appealed people of Kashmir to help in building peace.

  1. Indian govt. Is only interested in the land of Kashmir. It is the land that they consider integral part as a result of its importance and their greed for it. Kashmiris have no place in their hearts or India. It is clear by their nonsensical statements.

How csn POK be a problem if they consider IOK not to be one. Kashmir was never an integral part of India.and no power can make it in sha Allah
