The technical board has postponed all the examinations for polytechnic students.
An official of the technical board said that due to prevailing situation in Kashmir, the examination of engineering students who are pursuing three year diploma course has been postponed.
“As soon as things come to normalcy,” the official said, “we will hold the examination and will ensure that no student faces any debacle.”
The official clarified that the scheduled examination of sixth semester engineering diploma pursuing students too has been postponed.
“Those students who pursue three years diploma in any engineering course prepare for lateral entry examination for BTech degree,” the official said, “but now we have postponed the sixth semester examination which was otherwise due.”
The official said that a notification with regard to postponement of sixth semester examination has already been issued.
The official ensured all the students that “the authorities will not let students face any sort of debacle”.
