Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan Friday convened meeting of officers of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department. He took stock of the supplies of essential commodities in the Division. It was informed in the meeting that sufficient quantity of essentials are available and SRTC has kept 150 trucks available for supplies of essential items.
As per an official statement, the ration for month of August, 2016 has been dispatched to the concerned ration depots. Divisional Commissioner has directed the officers to work in close coordination and submit report every day.
The meeting was attended by Director Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Officers of Food Corporation of India and SRTC.
