At least three Border Security Force (BSF) personnel were injured after suspected militants attacked their camp at Karnah area of border district Kupwara on Friday.
Reports said that a group of militants targeted a BSF camp crating panic in the area. The surprise attack according to sources resulted in the injuries of all but three BSF men.
Confirming the incident, a police official told CNS that four BSF men wounded in the attack were airlifted to 92 Base Army Hospital Badamibagh Srinagar.
Reports said that immediately after the attack reinforcement of army reached the spot and a large area was cordoned off.
