Two youths were injured when forces fired tear gas canisters and pellets on protestors in South Kashmir’s Islamabad on Friday evening.

MS Islamabad Hospital, Dr Majid Mehrab, told Kashmir Life, “two youths were brought here, they have been referred to Srinagar.”

He said that one of the youth was hit by tear gas shell in head and another was hit by pellets in eye.

The pellet hit was identified as Yawar Ahmad and was shifted to SMHS while tear gas shell hit youth was shifted to SKIMS Soura.
