As situation remains grim in Kashmir, the curfew and protests continued in north Kashmir on 44th day.

Heavy restriction is in place across major towns and villages of the north Kashmir.

The entry points to all the localities in Sopore town are sealed with coil of barbed wire.

Clashes erupted in Behrampora village of Sopore town between youths and forces, leaving several injured.

In another incident, a marriage party faced force in Sopore’s Trumgund, leaving reportedly nine persons injured.

Meanwhile youth staged a protest demonstration in Seelu village against the last night’s raid by forces. The protestors burnt worn out tires.

In another incident, residents of Baramulla’s Khawajabagh locality hit streets to protests against the alleged beatings and ransacking of property by forces.

The protestors raised pro-freedom and anti-India slogans.

As per the locals, forces last night beat a resident namely Pir Arsheed who is a government employee when he objected their entry into his house.
