A young man suffered a mild heart attack after cops allegedly harassed him and his wife at Safa Kadal while they were on way to Government Dental College Karan Nagar Srinagar.
As per the witness who quoted the victim, “the J&K Policemen stopped us and tried to turn us back but when I told them that my wife is suffering with pain in her Jaw, they refused to listen. One of the police men attempted to hit my wife with a stick.”
The witness said that he was shivering like anything and “then I took him to SMHS Hospital where doctors treated him.”
The couple is believed to be residents of Soura Srinagar.
He added that the victim is now out of danger.
